The people

behind Narreum.

Narreum Press was founded by two readers who believe books can hold memory the way a museum holds history. Our work is guided by a shared care for language, design, and the impact of storytelling.

Dr Cass McCann

Co-Founder and Editor

Cass holds a PhD in English Literature, specializing in the intersection of literary theory and neurology. His research explores how literature illuminates fundamental aspects of human experience, with particular focus on memory, identity, and time. Cass is driven to improve the experience of publishing and editing—this goal provides the impetus for Narreum's proprietary software.

Dr Haley Simons

Co-Founder and publisher

Haley has devoted her career to the arts. With a doctorate in music and years serving creative communities across Canada and worldwide, Narreum is the ideal next step in fulfilling her mission of developing accessible arts education and the expansion of creative works.
